30 Years on the Green: Celebrating a Record-Breaking Ray Forde Memorial Golf Tournament
What a way to celebrate 30 years!
Community Living North Halton’s 30th Annual Ray Forde Memorial Golf Tournament was a tremendous success, bringing our community together for a memorable day of golf, connection and support. This year was especially significant as we welcomed 135 golfers, a new tournament record!
This incredible turnout made our 30th anniversary celebration one to remember and showed just how strongly our community continues to support children and youth with developmental disabilities.
Supporting Children and Youth Through Recreation
All funds raised through the Ray Forde Memorial Golf Tournament go directly toward Community Living North Halton’s Children’s Recreation & Leisure Program, helping provide children and youth with developmental disabilities opportunities to participate in recreational activities, explore their interests, build friendships and enjoy experiences in their community.
The program includes activities such as sports, music, games, crafts and community outings, while also providing important respite for families and caregivers.
These opportunities are vital. Recreation is an important part of every child’s life, and children with developmental disabilities deserve access to activities where they can have fun, try new things, develop friendships and participate alongside others. The support raised through this tournament helps make these experiences possible for the children and families we serve.
