More Than a Café: Meet The Lunchbox Café & Catering
Located in Milton at 917 Nipissing Road, Lunchbox Cafe and Catering is more than a place to grab breakfast or lunch, it’s a social enterprise operated by Community Living North Halton.
The Lunchbox Café provides adults with developmental disabilities the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the food and hospitality industry. From food preparation and serving to customer service and teamwork, trainees build practical skills that can help them pursue future employment and volunteer opportunities in the community.
Alongside its training program, the café serves fresh, homemade breakfast and lunch to the public Monday to Friday. The Lunchbox Café also offers catering for corporate, private and community events, with options to help make planning your next gathering simple and delicious.
The café also has three meeting rooms available for rental, making it a convenient space for meetings, community groups and private events.
