Ontario’s 2022 Fall Economic Statement
Yesterday, Ontario delivered it’s 2022 Fall Economic Statement. Below includes some highlights relevant to the developmental sector:
- An Increase to the Ontario Disability Support Programme (ODSP) monthly earnings exemption for a person with a disability from $200 to $1,000 per month;
- The previously announced 5% rise in ODSP rates will be officially tied to annual inflation; and
- Changes to the disability eligibility determination process to reduce the time to decision and planning.
