New Winter/ Spring Programs – Brushstrokes & Books + Track to Thrive

Posted on February 18, 2025 in Blog

Community Living North Halton is excited to offer two engaging programs this season—Brushstrokes & Books and Track to Thrive. Whether you enjoy research and art or movement and fitness, these programs provide the perfect balance of learning, creativity, and wellness.

Brushstrokes & Books combines research, art, and live theatre. Participants will complete a research project using library resources, guided by a librarian and CLNH staff, and present their findings to the group. The program includes lunch, painting lessons at the Robert Bateman Art Studio, and a live performance of Cirque Kalabanté: Africa in Circus on April 17, 2025.

Track to Thrive focuses on movement, social connection, and relaxation. Participants will start with laps on the track, followed by an interactive circle time. They can choose between AquaFit or a public swim session, enjoy lunch in the Youth Activity Room, and end the day with a guided stretch and flex session.

These programs offer opportunities to learn, connect, and stay active. Please see below for full flyers on each program!
