June 10 – Special Friends Day

Here, special friends participant Jessica Knapman ,16, gets a thrill as she tries on Halton police chief Stephen Tanner’s hat for size.

The Halton Regional Police are very pleased to be hosting the 24th annual Special Friends Day in conjunction with their Emergency Service partners. This year’s event will be held on Sunday, June 10th, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Registration will open at 9:00 am and close at 1:00 pm. The day will proceed rain or shine.

PLEASE NOTE: They will again be hosting the day at our REGIONAL HEADQUARTERS LOCATION, 1151 BRONTE ROAD, OAKVILLE.

Events will include usual favourites such as the opening parade, carnival games, crafts, live entertainment, prizes, ice cream and our always popular BBQ. There will be plenty of bottled water and shaded seating available.
